Hello, I'm Sami.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am currently working as Senior UX Researcher for the global healthcare company, Cardinal Health. Despite studying Industrial Design in college, I have always had an interest in UX and more specifically, the intersection of technology and design. Through working as a consultant at UXReactor, I got my hands messy with research, which I learned the value of, and thoroughly enjoyed. Over time, I have been able to up-level my design, research and communication skills, as well as understand outcome-driven design and UX strategy better.

Solving problems and helping others feel understood has always been where my passion lies, and I'm constantly looking for my next challenge to push me to be a better design thinker and ultimately a more effective researcher.

Feel free to get in touch!

My Journey

When I'm not Working...

Although UX is a huge aspect of my life, it's not the only aspect of my life! Here's a little bit more about what I'm up to:

Traveling the World

You can always find me planning my next international trip! Some of my favorite previous destinations are Peru, Costa Rica, Egypt and India.

Staying Active

I'm always in motion. If I'm not beating my lifting PRs at the gym, I'm either running or hiking. I recently ran the SF Half Marathon and man, the SF hills gave me hell. Oof.

 Exploring my City

Sometimes, it's about the simple things and I love exploring my city and enjoying the finer things in life (like an açaí bowl in Mission Dolores.) Yummm.
